- Vintage : 2025
- Grape Varieties : Chardonnay and small berry Muscat
- Vineyard area : At 600 m altitude on the hillsides of Théüs
- Age of vines : almost 30 years old
- Winemaking : Fermented in French oak barrel with daily stirring. Aged on fine lees in the same barrels. A micro cuvée of only 1,000 bottles.
- Serving temperature : slightly chilled to around 6°
- A brilliant, gleaming wine with superb pale gold highlights.
- A complex nose of citrus accompanied by dried and fresh apricot and a hint of brioche.
- The palate offers the same aromas of citrus and apricot, but with the addition of richer notes of vanilla and pastries. There is good tension but also the opulence and smoothness conferred by barrel ageing and lees stirring. The finish has delicate Muscat notes, bright and mineral, with good length. The 2020 vintage is slightly mellower than previous vintages.
- Perfect with cheese (Buffalo milk Camembert, Ossau-Iraty with truffles, Rouchi with shallots …), a chicken supreme or roast cod loins.
